It’s that wonderful kadai masala which makes paneer, the kadai paneer. Kadai Paneer Masala is prepared by dry roasting whole spices and then coarsely grinding them. And this kadai paneer masala gives this kadahi paneer recipe it’s unique spicy taste.

A. Ingredients To Make Kadai Masala
1. Coriander Seeds (साबुत धनिया) – 2 Tsp
2. Cumin Seeds (जीरा) – 1 Tsp
3. Black Peppers (काली मिर्च) – ½ Tsp
4. Whole Dried Red Chillies (साबुत लाल मिर्च) – 4 Nos


B. Ingredients To Make Kadai Paneer
1. Paneer – 250 Grams (Cut into Cubes)
2. Onion (प्याज़) - 1 Nos (Diced)
3. Capsicum (शिमला मिर्च) - 1 Nos (Diced)
4. Cooking Oil (तेल) – 3 TBsp
5. Cumin Seeds (जीरा) – 1 Tsp
6. Onion Paste – (Grind 2 Nos Onions to Make Onions Paste)
7. Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 Tsp
8. Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) – 1 Tsp
9. Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) – ½ Tsp
10. Coriander Powder (धनिया पाउडर) – ½ Tsp
11. Black Pepper Powder – ½ Tsp
12. Kadai Masala (कड़ाई मसाला) (We Prepared It During Recipe) – 2 Tsp
13. Salt (नमक) – ½ Tsp (Adjust to taste)
14. Tomatoes (टमाटर) – 2 Nos Large (Coarsely grind to make tomato puree)
15. Cashew Nuts Paste (Grind 20 Nos Cashew Nuts to make a fine paste)
– This is Optional.
16. Fresh Cream (क्रीम) – 2 TBsp
17. Dried Fenugreek Leaves (Kasuri Methi) – 1 Tsp
18. Coriander Leaves (हर धनिया) – ¼ Cup
19. Green Chillies (हरी मिर्च) – 3 to 4 Nos (Sliced)
